Meg Walls

Spotlight Profile

Meg Walls is a queer mixed-race actor originally from Leicester but now based in London. She has just completed her training at Rose Bruford College on the BA Acting course. Meg is a working class actor with a passion for dark comedies, thrillers and Shakespeare with her favourite role to date being BEATRICE in MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING directed by Robin Belfield at Rose Bruford.

In 2024 Meg took her play ‘LIPS’ to Camden fringe. LIPS is a Dark Comedy about partying, falling in love and some very self destructive behaviour. Meg played the lead ‘ALEX’.

She also just finished on a Short Film Project she wrote - queer comedy/thriller - ‘Hello, again?’ where she played the lead love interest ‘RUTH’.

‘Walls gives Alex a dangerous naivety and vulnerability. Maybe Lips is about taking a chance even if you’re better off alone. It doesn’t preach, and it doesn’t praise. I found it an extremely effective play.’ - loureviews.blog
