Angus Dunican
Though principally a comedic writer/performer Angus has the versatility for genre pieces and an ear for other voices.
Since 2018, he has worked regularly with Big Finish - writing five full-length scripts for their various Doctor Who related ranges. His first, Short Trips: Deleted Scenes was released in 2020, with others still very much a secret! He also contributed to the live experience Doctor Who: Time Fracture, which called for specialist material in Shakespearean verse.
He has been commissioned, several times, by the organisers of the Douglas Adams Memorial Lectures (in aid of Save The Rhino) for his ability to write and perform bespoke pieces in the style of the late author.
In the live comedy space, he has written four hour-long solo shows, with 2016’s The Vanity Project being singled out for a ‘Pick of the Fringe’ award.
Among other projects, Angus is currently at work on a piece for the award-winning experimental audio-fiction podcastImaginary Advice - curated by Ross Sutherland
